Big 2011

We have bought our first house. Only 12 years into our lives. Lady J is hits a new stage in life, Daddy J gets a new job, and we get a house. Big year just like our first one of marriage. I guess we like to do it big when we do it.

Facebook Takes over

So I guess that I am now a facebook addict too. Not that I ever kept up with this blog like I could have but now I never even expected it to be here still. I still suck at texting and although I have a FB I am hard to find. I had to get one for my family cause I never knew about events like births, until after everyone started talking about it. I had to get it also for my neighbors. I found that I never knew what my neighbors were in need of cause you don't knock on the door for sugar anymore, you FB it. WOW what have we come to...And yet now I FB it too cause "When in Rome" I will yearly keep a post on here... or sooner if I remember. Thanks for your love while I keep trying to understand this social media. I see the positive, but also wonder where did the personal attention go when we try and keep up with people we don't even know.

Guitar Guy

Big T was able to do his 2nd recording on the guitar yesterday. He has been doing lessons for 2 months and has finished the first book. He is very excited and practices OFTEN. He has even learned a few of Lady J's Piano songs on his guitar. He has Dancing Kings ear. Not quite Princess Piano's equal but getting there. Hope he and his sister keep up their love of music.

Scienc Fair

Lady J had so much fun this week. Too bad Gimpy mom was not as excited for the work. She did great though. On Monday we all but threw in the towel after a 2 hour cry over the stress of the backboard. The project was all extra credit so Gimpy mom suggested we just skip the typing and it all became do-able. (With the gentle help of Daddy J's soothing hugs.) This is why God has granted children the privilege of 2 parents where possible. We are very proud of her and she even more proud of herself. 2nd Place was unexpected but very welcomed. Big T is now training the female. It was in all a good if not very stressful experience. Hope to start soon for next years 2 projects so that the time crunch is less of an issue. We will see on that though.
